Random thoughts - Best Beginnings

While going through the daily motions today, I remembered two of my all-time favorite opening sequences:

Gandalf's Fall (at the beginning of the Two Towers)

and

Nightcrawler, taking out everyone (from X-Men 2)

I guess I like movies like that where I know the characters before hand and how bad-a** they are (and will be), and I don't get too disappointed (especially when there's a good director involved)!

What opening sequences dropped your jaw when you first saw it?

Star Wars Viewing Order

While reading through this question and the answers, I decided that if and when the time comes, I'd make the kids watch the movies in the following order:
4 (Hope), 5 (Empire), 1 (Phantom), 2 (Clones), 3 (Sith), 6 (Jedi)

Batman Begins

 

Batman: Where's Falcone?!

Flass: I don't know!! 

Where were the other drugs going?!

I never knew! I don't know!

I swear to God!
